The theme behind this promotion was to celebrate singlehood on V-day. The statement: "This is how we do it at Lavalife” characterizes the campaign’s marketing direction. In this component 5 photos of single employees and their V-day plans provides everyday users with a peek into the company while humanizing the brand.
Zarinmedia organized and executed an onsite photo shoot at LavaLife corporate offices, provided graphic/motion design, and final development of the trackable web component using Flash.

2.3 Recent Project: ShareQuest 2003 community Xmas/ecard
Based on our Flash adventure game engine, Zarinmedia produced this multi organization Xmas greeting card for 13 of Toronto’s most prominent new-media and business associations.
The campaign goal was for all participating associations and sponsors to benefit from the cross traffic generated, while bringing focus and attention to Canada’s leading non-profit charity donation ecommerce engine (CanadaHelps.org)
We estimate in excess of 10,000 emails were sent out during the holiday season, greeting various association members with holiday wishes leading up to Xmas. This campaign resulted in 3300+ visitors, out of which 840 players completed the game (in 112 hours!) and signed guestbook entries.
Please note this game engine is available to be licensed for your company’s online promotion, please contact us for more details.

3.1 Article: edesign magazine June/2002:
COVER STORY: Small is Big
Here's an article that echo's our strategy and positioning within the industry:
"During the dot-com boom, several diminutive new media upstarts became corporate conglomerates within a matter of months. Then, overtaken by their overhead, they collapsed on themselves. These days, small is in again. In 2002, a kinder and gentler world of boutique design-and-information architecture firms is on the rise. Rather than issuing manifestos, these firms are thinking more modestly. Most refuse to do IPOs, and while some have remained comprehensive technology and design shops, others employ alliances and loose partnerships with specialized firms to complete projects. While the new companies vary in structure and style, they all share a basic goal of developing fresh design ideas and practices."

3. Our services in context
1. A note from the team
In the past 3 months, Zarinmedia has enjoyed various forms of professional recognition, and we love it! As a result, this issue of the newsletter welcomes many new readers.
What is on our minds these days? Exploration & experimentation into the structure of "cognitive" Flash websites.
We are interested in how we can use the current body of knowledge in web usability, information architecture/flow, cognitive theory, psychology and marketing to create smarter sites and web applications that take the current user experience practices to the next level.
The next level being adaptive rich media user experiences that learn over time to progressively deliver the best information, navigation, and usability for each user.
2. What's new
2.1 New Zarinmedia site (v2.5) announced, and we need your feedback
It has already been 8 months since our launch of the Zarinmedia (v2) site!
In the fast paced internet world, its time about time for a redo.
In our new site all the information broadcast is contained in one quick loading page, creating elegance through simplicity. Fluid motions, create an unusual, yet intuitive navigation system that "reads your mind", and presents information to you with movements of your mouse.
Before we officially launch this new version, we would like your opinions and critical feedback. Please take the time to check our beta test site, and send us your comments.
